Meet Jenn

Over the last 20 years, Jenn has excelled as an experienced teacher, instructional coach, and district curriculum administrator. In 2022, she ventured outside of the public education space and quickly advanced into roles such as education product writer, editor, and professional development facilitator. Jenn prides herself on "just being a teacher", even though her professional scope has allowed her to contribute to major educational textbooks and publishing work, higher education partnerships, and nationwide literacy consultant work.
In everything she does, whether it is product development or creating personalized professional learning opportunities, she draws from her knowledge of early childhood education, andragogy and adult learning theory, professional learning, MTSS/reading intervention, neurodivergences, language acquisition, linguistics, and K-12 literacy education. Jenn always focuses on research-driven, evidence-based methods, consulting brain research and the body of research known as the Science of Reading.
Jenn built a strong education foundation with a BS in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas State University and pursued a master's degree in Education, focused on Educational Administration and Supervision from Lamar University. She continued her passion and drive for excellence in literacy instruction with extensive coursework in early literacy— earning a Legacy Master Reading Teacher certification in Texas.
She is passionate about literacy and access to books for all children, an advocate for striving and neurodivergent learners, Title I, and culturally responsive instruction.
